PINK LIPPIES!

Hi Beauties!

Today I wanna write about my pink lippen collections! yeay!

Why is it still about lipsticks you may ask? Well it might be because I'm a lipstick hoarder and I can't help myself to buy and stack lots and lots of lippies which I'm sure will last a couple of years ahead just for the sake of trying out the colors..

Unfortunately I'm still not bold enough to be more experimental in the color range area, that's why I have quite many pink lippies instea of branching out into other colors like purple. fuschia or orange! But afraid not dear friends, I will try to tap my finger slowly into the realms of more bold colors ahead.

However for now please let me introduce you my 6 daily pink lipsticks that I used in rotate depends on my makeup and mood that day :D and again, since I'm quite a newbie in this makeup thing all are drugstore brand and should be available in the counter near youu

I also would like to share the swatches on my lips here, for your info I'm NC30 and my lips are a little bit pgimented

 

Sorry if the lighting is not very good, because it's a room lighting not outdoor.. I forgot to swatch in my lips while I was outside, haha..

Anyway I'm going to pick my most favorite and my least favorite from above lippies.. Actually I LOVE all of them but you gotta have that special one and that one that you rarely reach out to anymore right.. 

MOST FAVORITE:

RIMMEL KATE 08

why? because I LOVE the texture, it glides like butter, the color is the perfect pink mlbb type for my lips, kind of neutral pink (not too warm it leans to brown or too cool it leans to pink-in-your-face type of color). I also received lots of positive feedback and girls asking me what lipstick do I wear that day.. So for that reason I choose this as my favorite from the bunch!

LEAST FAVORITE:

REVLON COLORBURST in SOFT ROSE

why? because I think the color itself is too... boring? I mean it doesn't have that extra edge or something just a bland warm pink which leans a lil bit to brown.. I bought this baby when I didn't have that much interest in makeup so I thought that this lippy is a safe color option that I can use anytime. Now that I'm more adventurous I'm looking for lippies that have more of a kick than just a bland color.. Dont take me wrong, I'm not that bold yet but even when I wanna wear a neutral or everyday color, I opt for something that really freshen up the face :)

HOW DEEP IS YOUR LIPS?

Sooo, hello folks! 

Udah lama punya blog ini tapi ga pernah aktif, dulu sih dipake buat curcol-curcol jaman sekolah deh kayaknya, haha..  Nahhh sekarang mau ganti haluan nih, I wanna start my own beauty blog! 

Triggernya sih karena akhir-akhir ini makinnn kesengsem sama makeup, watching all those beauty vlogs in youtube, baca-baca review, ngeracunin diri sendiri dengan participating di forum femaledaily yang akhirnya bikin nafsu belanja makeup ga bisa dibendung! Apalagi lippen, ampun deh addict banget, kalo liat counter makeup pasti langsung swatching segala lippen yang ada haha.. Jadi dipikir-pikir daripada goes to waste tu lipstick-lipstick yang akhirnya cuma dipake sedikit-sedikit, lebih baik sharing reviewnya sama yang lain kann :D hopefully it will be beneficial to others who are wondering to buy which product or which color.. So here it is, my first post and of course it will be about lippies!

This time I will be sharing about the deep color lipstick I currently have and my current favorites!

1. NYX MATTE LIPSTICK in ALABAMA

 

I love this color so much!It's a deep wine red so it suits my yellow based skin, I'm around NC30. Sometimes it's quite hard to find a perfect red lipstick, because if it's a blue based red then my complexion will look weird, or if the red is too bright it overwhelms me.. so I think for a drugstore budget, this lipstick is perfect!

2.REVLON JUST BITTEN KISSABLE BALM STAIN in CRUSH

Sooo I was bitten by the deep plum fever lately and was looking for a deep plum lipstick which comfortable to wear.. I have been a big fan for this line from Revlon as it is very easy to use everyday, you won't have to worry about your chapped lips as it is a balm formula with a stain and an opaque color, so what else can you ask for right? So on those days when I'm too lazy to put on a n extra balm, or scrub my lips but still wanna rock a deep plum color I will grab this baby! 

To add more depth in this color, I also buy this Revlon colorburst lipgloss in Bordeaux. Actually I bought this first before the balmstain as it was on discount (yeay!) and the color is so pretty in the tube, it can be worn alone as it's very very opaque but you know how the gloss works right, after a sip or two, a bite or two, the color is gone and because it is a deep color, it left unflattering line along the lips.. That's why I prefer to use it after applying the balm stain to add more intensity

Okayy, I guess that was it my deep colored lipstick, it's a trial post after all :) so for other colors of lippies, I will divide it into some categories, hopefully soon I will post!!
